Katey's role as a behaviourist is to assess the issue/s you are having to then provide advice and support on how to reduce the issue. Katey is an Applied Animal Behaviourist specialising in dogs with over 19-years of hands on experience. Katey has a Master's degree in training & behaviour plus is a Registered Veterinary Nurse. This means you are getting help from every angle possible in dealing with your issue. Katey aims to treat the underlying emotional problem by coaching you in the application of proven methods.

From time to time everyone has a problem with their animal’s behaviour and may need or choose to have help to overcome it. There are a range of behaviour problems which may or may not be severe dependant on a range of circumstances. This category covers problems from aggression (human or animal) to having accidents in the house.

There are a number of reasons why animals develop problems, Katey can help with any issues you may be having, without any judgement. However if you are suffering with a problem you will have to be able and willing to put in the vital time that will be needed to turn the situation around.

Katey has successfully worked with an abundance of owners (check out the social media channels). Katey is based in Norfolk providing help to owners within some locations of Suffolk for an additional travel fee. Help is also available live and online for owners further afield. You can also travel to see Katey at a private location.

Applications are welcomed from owners, however in most cases your veterinarian will need to complete a referral form. You can access the form via the button below.

Katey invites you to have a free 15-minute discovery session to discuss your pet's needs. This also provides an opportunity to get to know each other and for you to ask any questions you might have.

There are many different symptoms of behaviour issues. If you are experiencing a behaviour issue with your dog Katey can help with issues such as:
Separation related issues
Noise sensitivity
Disliking being touched / issues with veterinarian

The first step is completing the application form to unlock the discovery session. The discovery session will help determine the level of support you need. This also doubles as part of the application process as Katey takes on a maximum of 10-behaviour cases per-month on a case-by-case basis.

Consultation Process Details:
- 15-minute pre-assessment discovery session with initial advice
- Pre-book your appointment; complete and return the behaviour questionnaire - 90-minute assessment session with Katey
- Report and treatment plan available within 7-days of the assessment

The consultation will include an explanation of the issue/s you are having along with management strategies. You will gain a deeper understanding of your dogs issue/s during this assessment.

Katey only takes on clients whom show commitment to receive on-going support via the behaviour programmes as one-off sessions will not go far in helping with the issue/s.

Initial assessment cost is £190 which includes:
- Assessment
- Report with treatment plan
- Free Academy Profile


Once you have had your assessment you can choose from one of the following support programmes. There is minimum requirement of 2-months commitment to recieve on-going support.


Completing the application will provide Katey with some information prior to your free discovery session. Katey only takes on a set number of cases per month and only owners that are committed to change and long term support.

When are the appointment times?

Tue, Thur & Friday. Latest assessment slot is 4pm, latest follow-up appointment time is 5pm. Saturday appointments available from mid-morning.

Behaviour Questionnaire & Veterinary Referral

Once you have made your enquiry and Katey has taken you on, you will book your and pay for your behaviour assessment. You will be navigated to a page where you can access a behaviour questionnaire and instructions which you need to read.

You will need to send the completed questionnaire back to us prior to your appointment so we can familiarise ourselves with your individual situation. In addition, your veterinarian may need to send referral form prior to your appointment.

HELP: My Dog has bitten a person!

Dog bites vary in severity and the severity of a bite can lead to the owner being prosecuted, as such each case is considered on it's own merit. If the bite is severe you may be referred onto another professional.

Do you do home visits?

These are sometimes available but will incur an additional charge plus a travel fee check the COVID statement for up-todate information.

All payments are taken in advance via the booking system, you can pay securely with a card.

Can I claim on my insurance?
